Popular Estonian artist Andres Kõpper also known as NOËP wrote the official anthem for the European Athletics U23 and U20 Championships, which will be played at Kadriorg Stadium in Tallinn already from next week.
“The desire was to write something that would be motivating and uplifting. Before I got to this song, I tried many ideas, but many of them seemed too emotional. “I Get Up” is also emotional, but it’s just right,” commented NOËP.

According to Taavi Esperk, the head organizer of the European Athletics U23 and U20 Championships, having an official theme song at a sports competition of the same level is quite rare. “We are pleased to introduce NOËP also to foreign sports audiences both on site and via TV live feed,” said Esperk.
The European Athletics U23 Championships at Kadriorg Stadium will start on July 8, and a week later the U20 European Championships will begin.
The official international partners of the 2021 European Athletics U23 and U20 Championships are Spar and Le Gruyère, the broadcasting partner is Eurovision and the official cooperation partner is Mondo. The supporters of the competition are Audi, Kalev, NIKE, Postimees, SYNLAB Eesti, Tradehouse, Utilitas and Värska Vesi. The competitions are organized by the Estonian Athletic Association in cooperation with the European Athletics Association, the City of Tallinn and the Ministry of Culture.
